Recently, No.2 coke oven of Jianlong Xilin Iron & Steel's coking project with a capacity of 1.4 million tons was ignited.
The total investment of the project is RMB1.488 billion (USD223 million). No.2 coke oven will complete the heating according to the heating curve after ignition, and is expected to be officially put into commercial operation in early December this year. At the same time, the construction units are speeding up the construction of follow-up projects to ensure that No.1 coke oven will be put into commercial operation at the end of this December, and the supporting CDQ project is expected to be put into commercial operation at the end of March 2021.
After the project is put into commercial operation, the company can achieve an annual output of 1.4 million tons of coke, 74,000t of tar, 18,000t of crude benzene, an annual power generation of 190 million KWH, an annual increase in sales revenue of RMB3.4 billion (USD509 million) and profits and taxes of RMB200 million (USD29.94 million).
