According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, China's pig iron output of enterprises above designated size was 75.78 million tons in September 2020, up by 6.9% YOY but down by 3.53% or 2.27 million tons MOM. The average daily output of the material in September was estimated at 2.526 million tons, decreasing by 7,900 tons from last month with a decline of 0.31%.
From January to September, Chinese enterprises above designated size produced a total of 665.48 million tons of pig iron, up by 3.8% from the same period of last year.
