Six ferronickel production lines of Inner Mongolia Jingan Nonferrous Metal to be put into commercial operation in October

The People's Government of Naiman Banner, Inner Mongolia, recently announced the construction of the nickel-based alloy new material project of Inner Mongolia (Naiman) Jingan Materials Co., Ltd.
According to reports, the project will build a production line with an annual output of 1.2 million tons of ferronickel alloy, 600,000 tons of silico-manganese alloy, 400,000 tons of high-carbon ferrochromium alloy and 1.295 million tons of steelmaking. The total planned investment of the project is 15 billion yuan (USD2.21 billion), of which the planned investment of 18 ferronickel production lines in the first phase is 5 billion yuan (USD7.37 billion). Since the start of construction, a total of 5.069 billion yuan (0.75 billion) has been invested.
Up to now, No.1-3 workshops of the project have entered the production commissioning stage. It is planned that 6 production lines will be put into commercial production simultaneously in October, and 18 production lines will be fully put into commercial operation in 2021.
