Tianjin Zhasan Iron and Steel reduces all capacity of blast furnaces

Tianjin officially issued and implemented the work plan for pollution prevention and control in 2019 on July 3, 2018. According to policies on iron and steel industry released by relevant departments of Tianjin, Xintian Steel Group Zhasan Iron and Steel Company should reduce all iron and steel capacity.
It is said that as of September 17, all blast furnaces of Zhasan Iron and Steel Company stopped production. Xintian Steel Group Zhasan Iron and Steel Company has two blast furnaces of 1,260 cubic meters and two converters of 120t with total iron and steel capacity of about 3 million tons. It mainly produces steel billet and the suspension of production causes a daily output reduction of about 10,000t of steel billet.
