Construction steel production license to be approved by provincial governments

On 4 September, Sun Huichuan, head of quality supervision department of State Administration of Market Regulation, stated at the State Council policy routine briefing that China will conduct the fourth reform on production license system. Production licenses of construction rebar, construction cement, broadcasting and television transmission equipment, counterfeit RMB-banknote discriminating device and prestressed concrete railway bridge simply supported beam that require approval of the State Administration of Market Regulation at present will be approved by provincial market regulation authorities and the State Administration of Market Regulation will no longer approve any production licenses of industrial products.
