CISA: Major steel mills' average daily steel products output records 2.19 million tons in late Aug

According to statistics released by China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) on September 3, major steel mills totally produced 24.1299 million tons of steel products in late August. The average daily output was 2.1936 million tons during the period, up by 6.08% MOM and 10.04% YOY.
During the reported period, major steel mills held the steel products inventory of 12.3696 million tons, down by 1.3555 million tons or 9.88% from mid-August but up by 2.8371 million tons or 29.76% from early this year.
