Guangxi adjusts resource tax rates

On September 1, the Decision on Specific Resource Tax Rates in Guangxi ("the Decision") came into force in step with the Resources Tax Law of the People's Republic of China.
According to the Decision, in the light of actual mining situation of metal and non-metal ores in Guangxi, unchanged are tax rates of 23 kinds of resources including iron, manganese and lead which have been taxed before the national law comes into force; and adjusted are tax rates of another 16 kinds of resources which also have been taxed but whose tax rates falls behind current situation.
To be specific, tax rates of 14 kinds of resources including coal, gold and dinas are lifted while tax rates of mineral water and light rare earth are cut.
