Baotou Steel Ganglian's steel plate output reaches 4.5352 million tons in H1

According to the semiannual report for 2020 released by Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Ganglian Co., Ltd. recently, during the first half (H1) of this year, the company produced 7.139 million tons of iron, 7.331 million tons of steel and 6.9499 million tons of commercial billets, down by 0.85% YOY, 2.53% YOY and 1.84% YOY respectively. Besides, the company produced 77,900t of rare earth concentrates.
The operating data showed that, in the first half of this year, Baotou Steel Ganglian saw steel pipe output of 654,300t and sales volume of 635,800t. The output and sales volume of steel plate reached 4.5352 million tons and 4.5644 million tons respectively. The section steel output reached 785,200t and the sales volume was 802,400t. The output and sales volume of wire and bar products reached 93.70 million tons and 1.0212 million tons respectively.
