Liuzhou Iron and Steel's steel product output in H1 increases by 6.06% YOY

On the evening of August 19, Liuzhou Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. released the 2020 semi-annual report, stating that during the reporting period, the company produced 4,143,900 tons of steel, an increase of 6.06% year on year; sold 4.169 million tons, an increase of 6.84% year on year.
The semi-annual report pointed out that as of the report's disclosure date, the international epidemic is still spreading, the global economic recovery is slow, the prices of raw materials and fuels, especially iron ore, fluctuate at high levels, and the domestic steel market is in a weak balance between supply and demand. Steel enterprises still face serious challenges in H2 this year.
Up to now, Liuzhou Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. has 11.5 million tons of ironmaking capacity, 12.5 million tons of steelmaking capacity, and 9 million tons of steel rolling capacity, without additional production capacity under construction.
