Konka Group to participate in establishment of electronic information industry equity investment fund

On The evening of August 17, Konka Group announced that it recently signed a cooperation framework agreement with the government of Yancheng to jointly establish the Konka Yancheng Electronic Information Industry Equity Investment Fund. The total scale of the fund is planned to be RMB10 billion (USD1.44 billion), with an RMB3 billion (USD433 million) of the first phase. The fund will focus on strategic emerging industries such as electronic information, semiconductors, the Internet, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, high-end equipment and new materials.
The total capital contribution proportion of investors designated by Yancheng Government is 59.9%, and that of investors designated by Kangjia Group is 40%.
