Jinan Iron and Steel's garden engineering project of steel making and sintering to be commenced

On July 27, the 22nd Metallurgical Corporation of China won the bid for the construction of the garden engineering project of steel making and sintering in Jinan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.
Located in Qinglong Industrial Park, Wu'an, Handan, Hebei, the project covers an area of more than 1,600 mu. It mainly includes two 1,260 blast furnaces, two 110 ton converters, one 1,580 mm hot continuous rolling steel production line, one 1,550 mm cold continuous rolling strip production line, and supporting public and auxiliary facilities such as sintering, pelletizing, oxygen generation and power generation. After the completion of the project, the iron making capacity will reach 2.32 million tons and the steel-making capacity will be 2.7 million tons.
