Vietnam terminates safeguard measures for imported coated steel plates

On July 1, 2020, Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade announced that it decided to terminate the safeguard measures for imported coated steel plates from June 15, 2020.
On July 6, 2016, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam decided to initiate a case investigation on the safeguard measures for imported coated steel products in response to the application of three iron and steel enterprises in Vietnam. On May 31, 2017, Vietnam's Ministry of industry and Trade issued Resolution No. 1931/QD-BCT, which decided to implement safeguard measures for imported coated steel plates, which is valid until June 14, 2020.
