Pangang Group's ultra-thin pattern steel sheet makes new breakthrough

On June 19, good news came from Pangang Group Vanadium hot-rolled plate plant. After testing, the two coils of 1.5mm ultra-thin pattern steel sheet produced by the plant in trial production reached the expected goal in shape, thickness and other indicators. Production of the ultra-thin pattern steel marked that the plant broke the design limit, made the production process of 1.5mm ultra-thin pattern steel sheet smooth and had the ability to produce ultra-thin pattern steel sheet.
Based on the original design of 1450 continuous rolling production line, the thinnest thickness for products that the plant could produce was 2.0mm. After many years of hard work, the plant could produce 1.8mm pattern steel sheet in batch.
At present, the plant used the data from this trial production to organize symposium and improve related processes, which will lay solid foundation for the production of 1.5mm ultra-thin pattern steel sheet in batch.
