Valin LY Steel starts construction of engineering machinery high-strength steel production line

On the morning of 18 June, Valin LY Steel held the commencement ceremony for its engineering machinery high-strength steel production line construction project.
With a total investment of about RMB2 billion (USD0.28 billion), the project will be constructed in two phases. The first phase has an investment of RMB850 million (USD120 million) and a planned construction period of 13 months. After completion of the first phase project, the company will see an increase of 400,000 tons in transverse cutting capacity and 260,000 tons in heat treatment capacity per annum, with an estimated annual increase of RMB116 million (USD16.38 million) in economic returns.
