Recently, Taiyuan University of Science and Technology and National Magnet Materials Quality Supervision and Inspection Center reached cooperation on the construction of permanent magnet materials performance testing and evaluation center in Taiyuan to serve the whole rare earth permanent magnet industry.
Shanxi is one of major provinces focusing on rare earth permanent magnet industry and a large number of rare earth permanent magnet enterprises are located in Taiyuan. In order to practically solve bottleneck problems that impact the healthy development of rare earth magnet industry, such poor service ability, incomplete standard system and lack of sharing mechanism in Shanxi high-performance rare earth permanent magnet materials application, testing and evaluation fields, the center will vigorously improve rare earth permanent magnet materials testing and evaluation public service ability of Shanxi, satisfy requirements on research, production and application industry technology innovation of rare earth permanent magnet materials and ensure efficient achievement transformation and application of rare earth permanent magnet materials, which are of great significance to promoting industry development.
