DEC Emei Semiconductor starts construction of relocation upgrading production expansion project

On 18 June, Dongfang Electric Corporation (DEC) Emei Semiconductor High-purity Materials Co., Ltd. started construction of relocation upgrading production expansion project in Jiajiang Economic Development Zone.
Located in new materials industrial park of Sichuan Jiajiang Economic Development Zone, the project covering a total area of 140mu will be constructed in three phases. With a total investment of RMB83 million (USD11.74 million), the project will have an annual production capacity of 39t of high-purity metal materials after completion, with an average annual production value of RMB60 million (USD8.49 million) and an annual tax of about RMB5 million (USD0.71 million). The first phase project will finish overall relocation, research technological upgrading, production capacity expansion and other construction tasks before the end of the year, while the second and third phase projects will be constructed in a planned area of 90mu.
