Phase II of Baosteel Huangshi Xingang project starts construction

On June 16, phase II of Baosteel Huangshi Xingang project started construction.
With the development of economy in Huangshi, Tuanchengshan district, in which Baosteel Huangshi Coated and Galvanized Plate Co., Ltd. (hereafter Baosteel Huangshi Company) is located, gradually became downtown area. In order to actively respond to the action plan to move from the city into industrial park, Baosteel Huangshi Company broke ground in Xingang (logistics) industrial park and started the construction of a new project in 2016. Phase I of the project saw the completion of construction and started production in 2018 and reached the capacity in 2019.
It is said that phase II of the project includes a push-pull pickling line with a capacity of 500,000t per year, two single stand rolling lines with a capacity of 230,000t per year, a hot-galvanizing production line with a capacity of 250,000t per year and auxiliary facilities such as workshop, acid regeneration and transformation substation; all of the construction will be finished and put into production in late 2020. After the completion of phase II of the project, Baosteel Huangshi Company will entirely move into Xingang (logistics) industrial park.
