Harbin starts construction of Gutie market iron and steel industrial park

On 18 June, Harbin started construction of Gutie market iron and steel industrial park with an investment of RMB3.5 billion (USD0.49 billion) from Harbin Industrial Investment Group in Acheng district. After completion, the project will be the largest comprehensive industrial park in Heilongjiang focusing on sales of steel products and integrating e-commerce, spot trading, information service, large-scaled warehousing as well as decoiling and cutting of steel plate.
With a total investment of RMB3.5 billion (USD0.49 billion), the industrial park covering an area of 1.14 million square meters and having a construction area of 480,000 square meters will be constructed in two phases. The first phase project will finish construction of comprehensive commercial area, warehousing area and iron and steel trading area at the end of 2020 and the second phase project will finish construction of steel structure assembly area and intelligent processing area at the end of October, 2021. The relocation of merchants is expected to be completed at the end of 2021.
