High-strength special welding material technology project of Longteng Special Steel commences construction

Recently, Changshu Longteng Special Steel Co., Ltd. in Jiangsu held the groundbreaking ceremony of the high-strength special welding material technology project.
According to reports, the project is implemented by Longteng Special Steel in cooperation with world-class Japanese advanced technology equipment enterprises. They will build an intelligent, efficient and high-strength automatic production line for special welding materials. The production line mainly produces high-strength special welding materials with a planned annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons, which are mainly used in high-end assembly and manufacturing fields such as oceans, ships, high-speed rails and automobiles at home and abroad. And it will produce special pipe fittings for high-pressure oil and gas pipelines with a planned annual production capacity of 600,000 tons. After the project is put into commercial production, Longteng Special Steel will achieve its annual sales revenue of 30 billion yuan (USD4.24 billion) and profits and taxes of 4 billion yuan (USD0.57 billion).
