On the evening of June 9, Hunan Valin Steel Co., Ltd. released an announcement that the company produced 1.82 million tons of iron in May 2020, up by 4% MOM. Besides, it produced 2.3 million tons of steel, up by 6.0% MOM, and 2.16 million tons of steel products, up by 8% MOM. It sold 2.13 million tons of steel products, down by 2.7% MOM.
From January to May, Valin Steel produced 8.61 million tons of iron, 10.77 million tons of steel and 10.01 million tons of steel products. It sold 9.75 million tons of steel products during this period.
