Xiamen Tianma Display Technology starts construction of G6 AMOLED production line project

The construction of G6 flexible AMOLED production line project to be operated by Xiamen Tianma Display Technology Co., Ltd. commenced in Xiamen Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone on May 18.
On August 12, 2019, Tianma Microelectronics Co., Ltd. entered into a contract with the management committee of Xiamen Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone and Xiamen Tianma Micro-Electronics Co., Ltd. to invest in G6 flexible AMOLED production line project. With total investment of RMB48 billion (USD6.7 billion), the project covers an area of about 1,500mu and has total floor space of about 1.26 million square meters. It is the biggest single-site flexible AMOLED project in China. Upon completion of construction, the project is expected to process 48,000 display panels per month, making Tianma Microelectronics become one of the top three flexible AMOLED producers in the world.
