On April 17, 2020, in response to the application submitted by the US enterprise Worthington Industries on March 27, 2020, the US Department of Commerce announced to launch an anti-dumping and anti subsidy investigation on the non refillable steel cylinders imported from China. This case involves products under Tariff No . 7311 . 00 . 0060 and 7311 . 00 . 0090, and some products under Tariff No . 7310 . 29 . 0025 and 7310 . 29 . 0050.

International Trade Commission (ITC) voted to make an affirmative preliminary determination on the anti-dumping and anti subsidy industry damage of imported non refillable steel cylinders from China, in which all five members voted yes . It was found that the products involved in government subsidies and dumping caused substantial damage to the domestic industry of the United States . Based on the affirmative decision of the U . S . International Trade Commission on China's products involved in the case, the U . S . Department of Commerce will continue to carry out anti-dumping and anti subsidy investigations on China's products involved in the case, and it is expected to make a preliminary anti subsidy judgment before June 22, 2020 and an anti-dumping decision before September 3, 2020.
