Ningbo Steel starts technological transformation on No.2 blast furnace

On 8 May, China MCC20 Group formally started the technological transformation project of Ningbo Steel's No.2 blast furnace.
A blast furnace of 2,500 cubic meters and its casting house will be constructed in the location where No.1 blast furnace is placed. After the transformation is completed, the new furnace will be a modern large-scaled blast furnace of low energy consumption, low emission, intelligence and high efficiency with an annual production capacity of 2.13 million tons of iron melt.
