On 6 May, Guangxi Iron and Steel's Fangchenggang long products base put its heating furnace and 1# bar heating furnace of its supporting facilities project into operation, laying a solid foundation for finish production of iron, steel and steel products in May 2020.
The project has a designed annual heating steel billet capacity of one million tons of bar and 600,000 tons of wire for each line.
