Department of Emergency Management in Jilin released an announcement recently. The announcement said that in order to further promote iron and steel enterprises to carry out their responsibility as the body of safe production, deepen the check and management on eight key hidden problems among enterprises and effectively avoid typical safety accidents, the province will start a special law enforcement inspection on eight key hidden problems of iron and steel enterprises from May 6, 2020 to June 30, 2020.
It is said that enterprises should conduct self-inspection from May 6 to May 31 and authorities will conduct law enforcement inspection from June 1 to June 30. The inspection will be implemented in all iron and steel and casting enterprises in this province.
Authorities will check the equipment, process and other infrastructure and locations that exist hidden problems or will be affected; they will check related alarm devices.
