Hebei to deepen ultra-low emission transformation of six industries to improve air quality

According to Ecology and Environment Department of Hebei Province, Hebei will deepen the ultra-low emission transformation in power, iron and steel, coking, cement, plate glass and ceramics industries to promote continuous improvement of air quality.
Focusing on promoting green development of industrial enterprises, Hebei formulated the ultra-low emission transformation standards for iron and steel, coking, cement, plate glass, boiler and other industries to guide enterprises to improve pollution treatment level. By the end of 2019, Hebei finished ultra-low emission transformation for 331 iron and steel projects and 83 coking projects, and advanced deep pollution control for 116 thermal-power projects. In 2020, the province will accelerate promoting the ultra-low emission transformation of 120 enterprises from plate glass, cement, ceramics and other industries. By the end of this October, the ultra-low emission transformation will be basically finished in six key industries.
