JCIEP: Application for production resumption of Weijiadi Coal Mine approved

Jingyuan Coal Industry and Electricity Power (JCIEP) issued an announcement on the evening of April 22, saying that the Weijiadi mine's application for production resumption that had previously been suspended due to an accident was approved.
On April 11, 2020, an accident occurred in Weijiadi Mine of Gansu Jingyuan Coal Industry and Electricity Power. After the accident, the company conducted a detailed investigation and analysis of the accident and made corresponding rectifications, and applied to Baiyin City Emergency Management Bureau to resume production . The Bureau conducted an inspection and acceptance of the company's Weijiadi Coal Mine to resume production . On April 21, 2020, the company received a reply from the People's Government of Baiyin City, which agreed the production resumption at the Weijiadi Coal Mine.
The original designed production capacity of Weijiadi Mine is 1.5 million tons, and the approved production capacity in 2009 was 2 million tons . The geological coal reserves are 276 million tons; the recoverable reserves are 191 million tons; and the gas reserves are 2 . 858 billion cubic meters . It is a mine that produces both coal and coal bed gas.
