Infineon announces acquisition completion of Cypress

On April 16, Infineon Technologies announced the completion of the acquisition of Cypress Semiconductor Company. Cypress, based in San Jose, will be incorporated into Infineon from now on.
On June 3, 2019, Infineon Technologies and Cypress Semiconductor announced that they had signed a final agreement, and Infineon would purchase Cypress with a total transaction value of EUR9 billion at a cash price of USD23.85 per share. The transaction has been approved by Cypress shareholders and all necessary regulatory approvals have been obtained.
