Lygen Mining's lateritic nickel ore trade volume breaks 20 million tons in 2019

On March 20th, the Deputy Mayor of Ningbo and other leaders reached Ningbo Lygen Mining Co., Ltd. for investigation and instruction of existing operation.
Cai Jianyong, the Board Director of Lygen Mining, mentioned when he was reporting the basic condition of their company to above leaders that the company's lateritic nickel ore trade volume broke 20 million tons in 2019, occupying 28% of the total market shares in China. The company has been investing in OBI Nickel Cobalt Smelting Project and RKEF Thermometallurgy Nickel Metal Smelting Project with Indonesia Harita Group since 2018. The whole industrial park has a total investment of USD2 billion and the construction is expected to be finished in 2021. It will produce 145,000t of nickel and 750,000t of cobalt and create annual output values of USD2.05 billion.
