Senior Technology to supply Li battery membrane to Northvolt AB

On March 18, Senior Technology announced that it planned to work with Northvolt AB as a strategic partner on power Li battery membrane field and both sides already signed the strategic cooperation agreement. In response to Northvolt AB to ramp up its production capacity, Senior Technology will supply Li-ion battery membrane products to Northvolt AB from its Changzhou-based plant or from plant planned to be built in Europe in future with a total investment not more than RMB2 billion (USD283 million).
According to the announcement, Senior Technology planned to build a Li-ion battery membrane plant in Europe to meet Northvolt AB's demand for producing Li-ion batteries. Both sides hoped to expand their businesses into the European market by carrying out in-depth cooperation in commercial and technical fields.
