Gangcheng metal renewable resources recycling project signs contract

On March 11, China Baowu Ouye Metallurgy, Jingjiang Telaisi Metals and Jingjiang Science and Education Industrial Park signed a contract to jointly build Gangcheng metal renewable resources recycling project.
According to the agreement, the three parties will jointly invest RMB200 million (USD28.56 million) to establish a new joint venture, constructing a circular economy industrial park with ship-breaking steel scrap as the main species and mainly recycling, processing and selling iron and steel scrap. The new joint venture has an annual processing, distribution and sales scale of 1.5 million tons of steel scrap and supply scale of 3 million tons of various types of qualified scrap.
