Investigation on the third anti dumping sunset review of ferrovanadium related to China in the United States

On January 2, 2020, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued a notice to launch the third anti-dumping sunset review and filing investigation on ferrovanadium imported from China and South Africa. At the same time, the United States International Trade Commission (USITC) launched the third anti-dumping sunset review industrial injury investigation on ferrovanadium imported from China and South Africa, to examine whether the substantial injury caused by the import of the products involved to the domestic industry of the United States will continue or reoccur within a reasonable and foreseeable period if the current anti-dumping measures are cancelled.

On January 28, 2003, the U.S. Department of Commerce formally imposed anti-dumping duties on ferrovanadium imported from China and South Africa. The United States extended the anti-dumping duty for the first time on December 19, 2008, after the United States made the positive final judgment of the first anti-dumping sunset review on the above-mentioned products. The United States extended the anti-dumping duty for the second time on February 18, 2015, after the United States made the final affirmative determination of the second anti-dumping sunset review on the above-mentioned products.
