Guangxi releases 2019-2030 implementation program for Chongzuo copper-manganese-rare earth new materials industry base

Recently, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region released 2019-2030 implementation program for Chongzuo copper-manganese-rare earth new materials industry base and required Chongzuo city to continue enhancing cultivation and development of copper, manganese, rare earth and other industries based on its unique location advantage and abundant resource advantage.
According to the program, the production base will own an annual production capacity of 1 million tons of copper cathode, 1.2 million tons of copper products, 2.5 million tons of traditional manganese alloys, 40GWh of manganese power batteries, 10,000 tons of rare earth magnets and 3 million units of rare earth permanent magnet motors and an annual smelting capacity of 15,000 tons of rare earths by 2030.
