Shanxi releases No.12 order for tackling heavy air pollution

On December 11, the air pollution prevention and control working group office of Shanxi released the 2019 No.12 order for tackling heavy air pollution.
As predicted by meteorological department, Shanxi would experience heavy air pollution during December 12 to 15 and the pollution would gradually abate on 16 due to cold air from the northwest as well as rainfall. In order to reduce pollution, Taiyuan, Shuozhou, Yangquan, Changzhi, Jincheng, Linfen, Yuncheng, Jinzhou "1+30" regions, Xinzhou "1+30" regions and Lvliang "1+30" regions are required to issue orange alert before 10:00 a.m. on December 22. The alerts issued earlier that have yet to be lifted would remain effective.
