Eta Research launches 4-inch free-standing GaN wafer

Eta Research Ltd. launched the 4-inch free-standing GaN wafer in the global market. The company produced free-standing GaN wafer with its independently researched and developed HVPE equipment, made technological breakthroughs in GaN high-quality production process, high yield peeling process and low-cost grinding and polishing process and finished development of pilot scale production, showing that it's able to realize mass production of 4-inch free-standing GaN wafer.
The company owns proprietary intellectual property rights of equipment and all processes of wafer production. In particular, the HVPE equipment has been upgraded to the sixth generation. It applied for 45 patents and passed the certification for high-tech enterprises.
Based on research and development results, it set up Eta Research (Tongling) Ltd. with an annual production capacity of 36,000 pieces of 4-inch free-standing GaN wafer and the largest industry scale in the world.
