Shijiazhuang releases 2019-2020 autumn/winter air pollution comprehensive control action plan

Recently, Shijiazhuang released 2019-2020 autumn/winter air pollution comprehensive control action plan and identified the pollution control targets in autumn and winter (from 1 October, 2019 to 31 March, 2020).
According to the plan, Shijiazhuang will deepen industrial structure adjustment of heavy-polluted industries. It will close one 450-cubic-meter blast furnace of Pingshan-based Jingye Group by the end of November, reduce coke production capacity of Xinjing Coking in Jingxing to reach the annual target of 500,000 tons by the end of November, accelerate upgrading of steelmaking pig iron blast furnaces below 1,000 cubic meters and converters below 100 tons and finish ultra-low emission transformation of all local iron and steel producers.
As required by the plan, iron and steel, coking, alumina, primary aluminum, carbon, copper smelting, ceramic, glass, lime kiln, casting and other five industries should tighten rating process, refine rating standard and carry out differentiation management and control by combining with actual situation.
