China Rare Earth Holding Limited announced on September 26th that it has signed an agreement on technology and trade cooperation with Japan Sanshi Refractory Co
According to a report, the two parties will mainly cooperate on producing high-specification monolithic refractory and its preformed units. China Rare Earth will invest about RMB35 million in the project, which is expected to go into operation and market in November 2019 . The project will adopt highly-automated equipment in production, which will notably reduce the number of workers and make the producing process be more standard . China Rare Earth forecasts that the project will create RMB50-60 million of sales for its group company within twelve months going to operation . Relevant products will mainly be exported to overseas customers with the rest to be sold to Chinese customers.
Sanshi Refractory will dispatch professional engineers to help supervise the construction of new equipment and the upgrading of existing equipment. In addition, these engineers will help improving production technology and supply technology guidance after the project is put into operation.
