CTIA sets new guidance prices for tungsten

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 13 Jul 05 - Chinese Tungsten Industry Association [CTIA] price coordinate committee held a conference and set new guidance prices for tungsten products in July 12. The newest guidance prices for July are listed below:
Tungsten concentrate: RMB110,000/t;
APT: RMB200,000/t;
FeW: RMB200,000/t;
Tungsten powder RMB290,000/t.
The conference was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi. Eighteen standing committee members, nine CTIA secretariat missionaries and some other companies attended.
The conference participants believed that the unstable price is understandable for the market demand changes in short-run. To accelerate Chinese tungsten industry development, CTIA price coordinate committee will work hard to build a stable tungsten price system and harmonic demand-supply relation.
