BYD to launch new-generation Ferro-Li battery in 2020

On the morning of Augsut 22, BYD Chairman Wang Chuanfu revealed that BYD will launch a new-generation Ferro-Li battery in May or June 2020. Batteries of this generation will have a 50% higher energy density and 30% lower costs, while has a working life of as long as eight years and 1.2 million kilometers.
