Heilongjiang Zijin Copper's smelting project goes into trial production

On August 18, Heilongjiang Zijin Copper Co., Ltd. held the inauguration ceremony of its copper smelting project, which marked the formal start of trial production.
As one of the key 100 projects planned by Heilongjiang government, Zijin Copper's smelting project focuses on leading industrial distribution and aims to further strengthen the copper industry in the province. Upon reaching target capacity, the project would produce 150,000tpy of standard copper cathode and 600,000tpy of sulfuric acid, and realize annual production value of 10 billion yuan (1.4 billion US dollars), with annual profit and tax of 500 million yuan (70.75 million US dollars).
