Guiqiang New Material: Li-ion battery anode material project goes into construction

On the morning of August 9, 2019, Haidong Guiqiang New Material Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony for its 30,000tpa Li-ion battery anode material project in the Haidong Industrial Park.
The project has a total investment of about RMB450 million (USD63.69 million), a land area of about 55 Mu (about 3.67 hectares), and will have a designed annual production capacity of 30,000t of Li-ion battery anode materials. During its construction process lasting from March 2018 to October 2020 and consisting of three phases, production lines, workshops, warehouses and matching environmental protection facilities will be built. When the whole project goes into operation, it's expected to be able to realize an annual sales revenue of RMB774 million (USD110 million) and annual taxation of RMB137 million (USD19.39 million).
