Fangda Carbon produces 94,000t of graphite carbon products in H1 2019

Fangda Carbon recently released its 2019 semi-annual report. During the reporting period, the company produced a total of 94,000t of graphite carbon products, including 82,000t of graphite electrode and 9,000t of carbon bricks; it produced 270,000t of iron ore fines.
In the first half of 2019, due to the main factors such as the release of graphite electrode capacity in the industry, the domestic prices in graphite electrode market generally declined. During the reporting period, the company's total operating income reached about RMB4 billion (USD559 million), down by 35.24% YOY; the net profit attributable to the owner of the parent company was about RMB1.45 billion (USD205.34 million), down by 54.27% YOY.
