1. Market Highlights
Prices of CRC and HGI coil in Chinese leading markets went down further in the early and middle June discouraged by the weak demand from downstream industries. However, they rebounded unexpectedly in late June after the governmental in some regions carried out policies on pollution curbs. Compared with a month ago, CRC and HGI coil prices in leading markets went down slightly. Steel mills were not active in producing CRC or HGI coil on scarce profit. In the international market, China's export prices for CRC and HGI coil declined slightly but showed signal of rebound at the end of June. Those in other Asian countries like Vietnam had no chances to move up like China. Taking all factors into consideration, insiders predict that prices of CRC and HGI coil would go down slightly in July.
