Jiangsu to promote ultra-low-emission reform

Department of Ecology and Environment of Jiangsu Province convened the promotion meeting for ultra-low-emission reform of steel mills on 28 June in Jiangyin so as to improve environmental quality and economic development.
The Department asked companies to reform by teams and clear relevant time and requirements.
Jiangsu Province issued Measures on Ultra-Low-Emission Reform of Steel Mills last December and asked all companies to complete the task before late this year. Companies which meet the target could be exempted from production suspension, otherwise shall be shut down for rectification.
