Recently, Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group Co., Ltd. (Weiqiao Group) posted on its official website The First Public Participation Announcement of Zouping Hongfa Aluminum Technology Co., Ltd. High-precision Aluminum Strip Production Line Project. The announcement shows that the total investment of this project is about RMB6.3 billion (USD90.88 million), and it covers an area of 466,300 square meters.
As a subsidiary of Shandong Weiqiao Aluminum and Power Co., Ltd., Zouping Hongfa Aluminum Technology Co., Ltd. (Zouping Hongfa Aluminum) was established in June 2015. Its main business scope includes processing and marketing of aluminum products, production and sales of high-precision aluminum strips, etc.
According to the announcement, the project uses aluminum liquid from Weiqiao Group as main raw material to produce high-precision aluminum strips, with an annual output of 760,000t.
