On May 27, the Green Intelligent City Steel Works Industrial Technology Research Institute, established jointly by the Central Iron & Steel Research Institute and Taishan Steel Group, held a signing and unveiling ceremony.
It is reported that the Research Institute will use the existing equipment, technology and talents of both sides, according to the difference of urban steel mills, and with a view to the needs of the social economy and the high-quality development of the people's livelihood in the city, and proceeding from green steel products, green technology, eco-industrial links and city services, to set up a green intelligent city steel works industrial technology research platform with research and development, promotion and transformation, engineering demonstration "government-industry-university-research-fund-service-practice " as a whole. Based on the experience of advanced steel mills at home and abroad, through the research and development of industrial technology for coupling symbiosis between steel mills and external environment, and by constructing the development model of circular integration of enterprise and city functions, it will provide technical support and model demonstration for the construction of "big-powerful-beautiful-wealthy-smooth" modern international metropolis and the development of green intelligent city steel mills.
