European final decision on imports of certain organic coated steel products originating in China

On May 3, 2019, the European Commission issued a public announcement that the final judgment on sunset review of anti dumping and countervailing of organic coated steel products originating in China was made: if the current double countermeasures were abolished, the damage to EU industry caused by dumping and subsidies of the products involved would continue or recur. Therefore, the European Commission decided to extend the double Countermeasures on the products involved. The anti-dumping duty rate of Chinese enterprises involved was 0-26.1%. The countervailing tax rate ranges from 13.7% to 44.7%. The specific tax rate is detailed in the table below. The EU CN codes of the products involved are ex 7210 70 80, ex 7212 40 80, ex 7225 99 00, ex 7226 99 70 (TARIC codes 7210 70 80 11,7210 70 80 91,7212 40 80 01,7212 40 80 21, 7212 40 80 91, 7225 99 00 11, 7225 99 00 91, 7226 99 70 11 and 7226 99 70 91). The sunset review dumping investigation period is January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017, and the industrial damage analysis period is January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2017.
