CISA: major steel plants' steel billet sales up by 3.10% YOY in Mar 2019

CISA released its members' sales in March 2019. Major steel enterprises sold 2.38 million tons of steel billet in March, up by 71,700t or 3.10% from the same period of last year; they sold 7.16 million tons of steel billet totally from the beginning of this year to March, a cumulative increase of 706,200t or 10.94% from the same period of last year.
At the end of March, the inventory of steel billets of major steel enterprises was 3.07 million tons, up by 137,000t or 4.68% from the same period of last year. It decreased by 19,000t or 0.62% from the beginning of the year, and increased by 109,200t or 3.69% from last month.
