Profits in steel mill industry down sharply in Q1 in 2019

According to the latest data released by CISA, in the first quarter, the membership steel mills achieved a total profit of RMB37.5 billion, down by 30.2% YOY; the return on sales stood at 3.87%, down by 2.39 percentage points YOY. In late March, the debt asset ratio stood at 64.08%, down by 1.94 percentage points YOY.
