It is known from Development and Reform Commission of Tangshan City, Hebei Province that the city launched the optimization and relocation of 13 iron and steel enterprises surrounding the main urban area, which involves iron and steel capacity of 51.35 million tons.
In order to optimize the layout of iron and steel enterprises and promote the layout of heavy and chemical enterprises near ports or railways, this year, Tangshan launched the optimization, relocation and upgrading of 13 iron and steel enterprises. It is said that these enterprises will move to coastal industry parks in Laoting and Fengnan, which involves steel production capacity of 27.37 million tons and iron capacity of 23.98 million tons.
